Victoria University engaged CumminsNitro in October 2004 to create a strong and differentiating brand strategy and visual identity.
At the time Victoria University was more of a logo than a brand. It did not have a defined brand positioning, essence or platform. It did not stand for anything emotionally in the hearts and minds of people. In an increasingly competitive market, both locally and internationally, the University realised the need to differentiate and engage its brand at every touch point in order to make the brand experience come alive.
The CumminsNitro team conducted an extensive brand audit before working closely with Victoria University to define its essence, vision and brand architecture. This was followed by the development of a detailed visual identity toolkit that looked at everything from colour palates to advertising templates.
