Following a successful pitch process in mid 2006, CumminsNitro were appointed as the creative agency for Symbion Consumer.  This represented the biggest single account win for the Brisbane office since founding in 2005, and helped cement their position as the ‘agency to watch’ in the Brisbane market.

It’s an exciting time for cummins to join the Symbion team.  Symbion Consumer is the parent company of some of Australia’s leading nutraceutical brands, including Nature’s Own, Cenovis, Bio-Organics, and Golden Glow.  The category is experiencing solid growth as a result of an aging population keen to retain their youth and vitality, and a series of ‘breakthrough’ products, such as Glucosamine, Fish Oil and CoQ10.
On the flip side, they’re faced with high brand promiscuity and low brand loyalty, where marketshare is driven by product and rational benefits rather than brand engagement. 

There is huge potential for a courageous brand to break re-define communications for this category and be the first to truly engage consumers.  And Symbion want to be the first.

With this in mind, we’ve worked with the marketing teams to develop strategies that map out the future direction of each brand.  We’re excited at what the future holds and look forward to bringing the strategies to life in the near future.
