In July of 2006, Nikon was ready to take their business to the next level and appointed CumminsNitro as their advertising agency.
Leading into Christmas, with the brief to move as many Nikon COOLPIX cameras as possible, we immersed ourselves in the world of compact digital cameras and came up with the perfect line ‘In the nik of time’.
An advertising blitz followed as we launched a TV commercial and covered every available space in shopping malls all across Australia with our Nikon message, telling consumers about the perfect gift ‘in the nik of time for Christmas’. We even went as far as warning would be thieves not to ‘nik our Nikons’ with cheeky in-store stickers.
We are currently developing stage 2 of the Nikon brand campaign and will be launching in the early part of the year.
